ABOUT US
Writers, designers, directors, the LDAV duo was born from the encounter between Loren Denis and Anthony Vibert, a natural fit that bridged Anthony's passion for writing, storytelling, and filmmaking with Loren's instinctive and visceral directing style.
Driven by a shared desire to tell true stories in their simplest and most touching aspects, to understand, feel, observe, and put a compassionate perspective on humanity and the world, their projects draw inspiration from their numerous encounters, travels, and the people with unique life journeys they meet along the way, transforming them into testimonies and narratives through documentaries, portraits, and short films.
CREATIONS—PARTNERSHIPS—DIRECTING
Based in Paris, working regularly internationally and especially in the United States where they both lived, the duo's work spans numerous fields from brand content and advertising, to more personal projects for television and streaming platforms.
Having built a diverse and solid network in the media, branding, and advertising sectors they are now exploring new avenues full of opportunities, and extending their creative talents to film, television series, children's books, and live performances.
Capable of developing concepts from start to finish for brands, and writing in a variety of formats thanks to their extensive experience (voice-overs for advertising, slogans, scripts for short films, feature-length documentaries, etc.), they consistently strive to bring a fresh, fun, subversive and honest perspective to every project.
We're open to all meetings and discussions.
Made in France. Born in Paris. Grew up in the suburbs of a medium-size town in the North East. Became a sister… once. Then a step sister… multiple times. My teenage years are split between rowing competitions, school, and a year in Puyallup (Washington state, USA) as an exchange student. Was a serious one, but couldn’t really find my purpose (yet !). Was dreaming about a life of my own.
Back to Paris this time as a yound adult. Attended the prestigious Sorbonne University, then an unexpected opportunity came my way… becoming a model through a contest. Got lucky and won prices locally. Then started working globally, travelling worldwide, met famous photographers, worked with big brands… and trained my creative eye relentlessly at their contact, until I realized I wanted to be part of the creative chessboard as well. So I hit the « reset buton », and started everything back from scratch.
Met Anthony my partner in crime. Worked as a tv presenter for the Canal+ group for 2 years, but constantly felt the need to dive into other forms of expression. Bought myself a camera, took some editing classes, and started shooting casting videos for models in our living room… One thing led to another, started creating short / narrated films and visual concepts with Anthony as a writer, then got some sweet reps as a director in France, the UK, and the US… Made endless treatments, calls, mistakes, and learned valuable lessons.
Never giving up we / I pushed everything on every level. Creating, filming, failing, winning some / losing some, the whole 9-yards, and tada ! After working and training myself hard a banger film (written and created by our duo) put me on the industry map as a serious Commercial director. Solo career took off. Crazy companies like Nike, MGM, Tumi, Santander, Zeiss, Eastpack, Rayban, La Mer, Burt's Bees, Fifa, etc… entrusted me with their visions, and got me working with the coolest stars like Kate Hudson, Lewis Hamilton, Neymar, Asap Rocky, OBJ, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, JaQuel Knight, Maluma, Ian Wright...
Became a mum : Best thing that ever happened to me. Horizons exponentially expended. Life 3.0. Lost personal free time (aha!), but found focus and purpose.
Covid-19 invaded our lives and well… we all had to pause for a while. Then returning back to the advertising sets became possible again. Collaborated with H&M, Lululemon, Crivit, Sephora, Adidas, Budweiser, Pvolve, Hoka, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games… that included new stellar collaborations with Jenifer Aniston, Jane Fonda, Steffi Graf, Antoine Dupont, Leo Messi, Nikola Karabatic, Damian Warner, Summer McIntosh etc... In parallel, Anthony and I decided to make our first long format documentary, and embarked on a project that would take us 5 years in the making.
My HOKA film won the gold for « best director » at the Clio Sports awards, and our documentary « Becoming Lucky Love », starring the rising french star Lucky Love got released on France TV prime time in December (and will be available on their platform until January 2028). It has just now been selected for the 2026 FIPA doc international film festival, in the “best french documentaries” category.
Made in France. Born and raised in the suburbs of Lyon. Travelled all over with the familly as a kid. Played soccer, and snowboarded, a lot. Got scouted by a modeling agent at 18 while on vacation in New York during my senior year of high-school. Graduated -with congratulations from the jury, oh yeah !- 2 months after coming back home. Returned to the Big Apple the following summer to give modeling a proper shot.
Things went nuts really fast, got hired by crazy brands and photographers almost straight away (still don’t fully understand why), career took off… and I never returned home. Worked and travelled all over non-stop for the next 4 years. Learned the guitare, became independent financially, France won the world cup with Zidane, got into NYU film school, learned writing and directing… then 9/11 happenned only 10 blocks from where I was. Cold shower. Had to rethink my life.
Took a place in Paris, left the US, moved there, kept on modeling. Had a DV cam with me 24/7, filmed everything and everyone around for fun and practice. Tried many new things in parallel, openned a small restaurant, decided to work with my father, learned a thousand new skills, travelled around the middle east for the job (long story, he lives in Beirut). Wasn’t happy with my life anymore after a while. So I hit reset. Again.
Met Loren. Went back to my first love, cinema. Started writing and creating content for fun. One thing lead to another and all of a sudden we’re shooting short / narrated films and visual concepts together that Loren directs. A few of them get noticed.
Luck of the draw. Pushed real hard, met a lot of people along the way, tried tons of things, different styles, and somehow one of our short films got some attention. Met more people. Started doing more and more of the cool stuff, won some, lost some. Learned. A lot. About everything. And found out who I was even more in the process.
Became a Dad. Realized life until then was a 7. Suddenly turned up to 11. No more sleep, no more late night movies, but newfound purpose and hunger for everything. Lived more, shot more, wrote more, and our new big step came in 2025 when loren and I co-wrote and co-directed « Becoming Lucky Love », starring the rising french star Lucky Love. Our first long-format documentary. Got released on France TV prime time, got selected in amazing festivals… and now it's available on their platform until January 2028. And now we have tons of new ideas. So we keep on pushing.
